Linking a local HTML not working

Hi, I'm trying to use html code to link to a local html file. But it won't load. The foswiki installation is for intranet and we're using natskin. This is running on UBUNTU

I did disable the firefox default settings that would prevent local files from being called.

I put the html code in a .html file and opened it in firefox to see if it works and it does. But for some reason after editing the HTML of a web topic with it won't work. If I hover over the link it shows the correct path. But nothing will happen when I click it. :
