NotificationDespiteNotifyTurnedOff

As adminitrator on a relatively small setup, I do not need notification. So i leaved {EnableEmail} unmarked.

Now, in my ibox, I receive notification for each new topic added (not sure if after modifications too). I did not care much about it but I think I should not have such notifications. Am I missing somethig or there Is a flag other than {EnableEmail} that controls notifications?

{EnableEmail} is used by user registration, with that disabled you won't have any email support. I'm not sure why notification is still able to send. But in any event normally you just don't list your WikiName in the [web].WebNotify topic. That should prevent notifications.

George: I did had a note en WebNotify topic explaining to the users that email notification was not available. I did sign it with my wikiname. It wasn´t on a bullet as per the notification sintax but somehoy it took it as a valid notification. I delete it , seems like is not notifying now. But I would say that {EnableEmail} tuned off should had taken care of not notifying, Thank you.
