Feature Proposal: JQTablePlugin should be a default extension

Motivation

Table sorting on client side is much faster than the old server side sorting. Also, this will greatly reduce search engine workload for public sites. The engines persist in indexing every sort order of every table column.

Description and Documentation

• Ship JQTablePlugin as a default extension
• Disable TablePlugin by default.

Need to decide if we add a checker to warn if TablePlugin is enabled.

Note that there are some compatibility issues. See JQTablePlugin for details.

Withdrawing this request. EditRowPlugin now provides similar client side sorting, but preserves the server side sort links as well. As it's a default extension, that should be the focus of any enhancements.
