While studying and writing my PhD thesis in physics I did a lot of programming work and discovered empirical informatics. I did start working in business with one of the big six auditing companies and hold several leading IT positions in different industries. In 2009 I founded my own IT-consulting company.

I am experienced in various projects of different kind, size and toolsets. There is one common issue in all projects: substantial lack in the ability of knowledge handling and reusing, which leads to inefficiencies on a large scale in most organisations. I strongly believe that Foswiki is among the best tools for handling large amounts of knowledge for organisations of any scale. My Wiki hosted on my company server is the key tool for my own work with documents and ideas. I use it most of the working time, and me and my customers really love it.
