Answer
Both, WYSIWYG and WIKIWYG editors will coexist soon on Foswiki. Work in progress.

Note, WYSIWYG is still part of the software. It is just that the current skin used on Foswiki conflicts with the wysiwyg editor. The first Foswiki release will most likely ship with pattern skin as default, the same skin as the legacy twiki
releases with the 'Edit' button loading the wysiwyg editor.

What is needed to change this situation? I think it is important for our marketing to show off a Rich text editor.

I am currently working on it so that both, natedit and tinymce can be combined. There are two issues remaining before calling it a done job:
- need to figure out a way to hook into
mceToggleEditor
- need to figure out how to set the correct initial height of the iframe
Crawford helped out understand tinymce wrt (1). However, (2) is still a miracle.

These issues still aren't resolved. Nevertheless the latest NatEditPlugin supports wysiwyg as good as possible now.
