Mail Notification for all Changes doesn't work
Hi,
currently I am having some trouble with the
MailerContrib Plugin...
GOAL:
The goal I want to achieve is, that I want to get a mail notification which contains the information, which parts of a page/web has been changed since the last notification. Containing the information of every single change made by a User.
Therefore my
WebNotify contains the following:
*
AndreasKoch:
BlackBoardGeneration BlackBoardGen4GeplanteTaetigkeiten WebHome
PROBLEM:
In fact, I get the notification but the problem is that the nofication just shows one of theses changes. The other notifications that happened since the last notification mail are not visible in the mail, just on the
WebChanges-Page.
I wasn't able to find a solution therfore yet, does anybody know a solution or is that just the way how this
MailerContrib works?
Kind Regards
Andreas Koch

The notification format you presented above would notify you
only of changes for the topics you listed. To subscribe to
all changes in a particular web, you would simply list your user name like this:
* Main.AndreasKoch
Note that subscriptions are set on a per-web basis. You must add your name to the
WebNotify topic in each web you wish to subscribe to.
For more options on how to configure your subscription, refer to the examples provided in
MailerContrib#How_it_works

Hi There,
I am using
MailerContrib on Foswiki 2.1.0 version and am facing issues specified in this question. My users are unable to get mails related to
WebChanges even when they have subscribed to the
WebChanges topic and added their name in
WebNotify as Main.Username.
Also, whenever there are frequent changes in a particular topic and I run mailernotify, the mails are sent only at selected intervals, say, only after about X hours after the last mailer was sent, X being unpredictable/arbitrary. Is there a setting that holds of mailing till a particular number of hours, please let me know.
