JHotDrawPlugin with IcedTea-Web (RHEL6)
We are having trouble using the
JHotDrawPlugin on SL6 (based on RHEL6), while we have no problems with SL5 or SL4. I believe the main issue is that RHEL6 provides OpenJDK (and IcedTea-web) instead of Oracle's JDK.
On SL5 and SL4, everything works fine.
If I try to run jhotdraw.jar using javaws on SL6 (provided by IcedTea-web), however, I recieve a "Fatal: Read Error: Could not read or parse the JNLP file." The details of the error are as follows:

Looks like the problem is that the JNLP is not valid XML:
