TreeBrowserPlugin doesn't work in WebLeftBar

Hi,

I want a collapsable site map/tree on my WebLeftBar.

I can succesfully make this appear in a page with the following code:

%TREEBROWSER{"file"}%
%TREEVIEW{web="Support" topic = "ContentRoot" formatting="outline" format=" * $topic" levelprefix=" " startlevel="1"}%

but when I put the exact same code in the WebLeftBar topic I just get a plain, non-bulleted showing up in the left bar.

Does anybody have any advice on this issue?
