Blog web is missing the WebPreferences

there is missing file webPeference file for Blog web

Are you referring to the _BlogAddOn web that is shipped with the BlogAddOn?

For this extension, the template blog web is expected to be copied into an existing web which would already have a WebPreferences topic. Configure flags this as a potential issue, because the topics in that sample web cannot be referenced through Foswiki. Unfortunately the topics need to be copied using the shell.

If that's the problem, and you don't have shell access to your server, please file a task at Tasks.BlogAddOn

If this is not what you are referring to, please explain further.
