Mail notification specifies old revisions

Over the last few days since installing 1.1.8 we had funny cases in the email notifications where a very old version of a file would be sent in the notify emails. For example, it would state that the revisions for the last day was for revisions 61 to 175 even though only revision 175 was updated the previous day (and rev 61 is from 2009)??

Please help. This used to work in the past.

I've seen this happen on occasion as well. I am not sure why. Last one I found was TopicInteractionPlugin Notified on 4/8/2013 r12-r16, which covered changes on 1 Feb, 14 Mar and 8 Apr.

This probably needs a task opened and some more investigation to find out why this happens.
