Can't install or remove extensions

When attempting to use the Configure interface to install (or even remove) any extensions, I get the message: 
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at V:/wiki/Foswiki-1.1.8/lib/Foswiki/Configure/Util.pm line 256.

I'm running FosWiki 1.1.8 on Windows using Strawberry Perl 5.12.

Can you check your apache logs and get a more detailed stack trace. I need to know what is calling the Foswiki::Configure::Util::CreateArchive method. It appears to be being called with an undefined variable.

Has this been happening from the very beginning, or did you install an extension that resulted in the subsequent failures.
