Solr Setup & Usage with Autotemplate

Hi Guys,

Managed to get solr up and running with FW 1.1.9 with the help of Leila Pearson's excellent howto http://foswiki.org/Tasks/Item12763.

QN 1:

However, I'm not sure how to prove that it's actually using solr; the solr-jetty logs don't show my manual searches, just the regular delta indexing.

Edit:
I've tried tcpdump and solrsearch doesn't seem to be calling the solr engine on port 8983.

QN 2:

Also, on the Solr home page http://foswiki.org/Extensions/SolrPlugin#Usage it mentions changing 4 settings in autotemplate: WebSearch, WebSearchAdvanced, WebChanges and SiteChanges.

However the example only shows 2 values being changed; can I get confirmation on the other 2 please?
