Is bulk_copy.pl broken?

Migrating from TWiki 5.0.2 to Foswiki 2.0.3 but bulk_copy.pl seems to copy nothing over. After some searching I have run accross this: http://foswiki.org/Support/Foswiki2MigrationIssues, it states that bulk_copy.pl is broken.

Is it still broken in 2.0.3?

If so is their a expected date it will be fixed by?

If you are migrating from TWiki, I doubt that BulkCopy will be usable. It uses internal Foswiki APIs, and while Foswiki topics are generally compatible with TWiki, the APIs have changed considerably.

For a TWiki migration, I'd suggest retaining the "RCS" store, so that bulk copy is not necessary. Use the CharsetConverterContrib to covert the topics from the old CharSet to utf-8.

Once you have completed the migration to Foswiki, then bulk copy could be used to convert from RCS to PlainFile store if desired.

There are still some issues in bulk_copy that will be fixed in 2.0.4 / 2.1. but it generally is functional.
