EditChapterPlugin Save and Cancel buttons not working

I have Foswiki 2.1.8 installed on Fedora 37 and latest Fedora Core OS.

I am using mod_perl in the foswiki.conf.

Whether selinux is off or on, every time I try to use the edit chapter pencil icon, the "Save" and "Cancel" buttons do not work; however the "Edit all" button does work.

Clicking the "Save" or "Cancel" buttons does nothing.

Did not have this problem with prior 2.1.4 version of Foswiki.

As an aside, I have troubleshooted getting Foswiki 2.18 to work with selinux on.

Please check the error console of your browser. Any messages in there?

Here is what the error console has when I click the pencil icon to launch the EditChapterPlugin:
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed with logging active, version 1.4.1 HunterMoseleyWeeklyLabReport:1 Autofocus processing was blocked because a document already has a focused element.

Here are some more details. The Save, Cancel and Edit all are links now and not buttons like in the previous version of the plugin. The Save and Cancel links have no value. The Edit all link has a link: "https://.../HunterMoseleyWeeklyLabReport?t17...".
