This question about Topic Markup Language and applications: Answered
How to create a tree structure for my topics
Hi,
I have been adding topics in Twiki then Foswiki in the last 6 months for personal use, with main topics like Computers, Printers, Phones etc. and subtopics like HP, OKI, Epson etc.
These topics appear alphabetically by default. How do I arrange them so that they are indented with the main topics as the main branches of the tree and the subtopics indented in several levels beneath, and in the logical order of the topics?
I can read up on the documentation except that so far I did not know what key words to look for and unfortunately have not found examples which told me that I was looking at the right things. I know that Parent/Child is an important concept. What other concepts and chapters/sections should I study?
Thanks for any directions.

Sorry for referring you to the antecedent project, but here are some hints:

Dear Sean,
Thank you for the reply and that gives me the data I need (and it was written by you!).
Hi Sean,
I am looking to do a tree topic list in my wiki also. I looked at the hints web page. Is only the
TreeBrowserPlugin sufficient or is the
TreePlugin needed also, and why? Are (were) they complimentary plugins or two separate plugins? I also see a
JSTreeContrib, which repackages the jQuery "jsTree" plugin. Is this a better plugin to use? Sometimes I see different plugins that appear to do the same function and it is difficult to determine which is better, or which may be outdated.
Thanks
