New version announcement?

Was there a bug in sending out announcements? Or do they only go out quarterly or something? I mean, low volume is one thing, but it would be nice to get timely notification of new releases, particularly major ones like 1.1.1 and 1.1.2!

I'm glad I got it, though! I'm going to see about installing 1.1.2.

So I think the issue here is that I had "digest" set, and I guess that the list software will only send an email after there is enough to create a digest, no matter how long it takes! In this case, it was 4 months.

Ironically, I got a second "digest" later on the same day. I've turned off the digest option; hopefully that will mean that I get notified sooner. But it said I might get one more digest, so it could be another 4 months...
