MathModePlugin installation and configuration
Hi!
I installed the
MathModePlugin, but it doesn't seem to work. Whenever I try to include a formula as per
MathMode-syntax, I receive:
Foswiki detected an internal error - please check your Foswiki logs and webserver logs for more information. exec failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
I am running foswiki in
VirtualBox with Debian server. I installed the Plugin as per description and enabled it. I also installed tetex, dvipng and
ImageMagick as told in
http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/MathModePlugin . I accordingly checked the reference paths in the
MathMode's latex2img-file that seem to be correct.
Did I forget anything?
Thanks for help,
Peter
what does apache's
error.log
say?

It says:
[error] File does not exist: /var/www/foswiki.local/pub/System/ImageGalleryPlugin, referer:
http://192.168.0.60/bin/edit/QMSystem/Messgleisbogen?t=1236080541
and:
view: Odd number of elements in hash assignment at /var/www/foswiki.local/lib/Foswiki/Sandbox.pm line 423. exec failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device at /var/www/foswiki.local/lib/Foswiki/Sandbox.pm line 471
Messgleisbogen is the document where I wanted to insert the formula.

Maybe this is a Debian packaging issue? I am running Debian also, and When I go to the list of installed plugins and click on the math plugin, this is what Apache says:
view: unlink0: /tmp/qMKfR7MY2b/2jAwzbNmXG is gone already at /usr/share/perl/5.10/CGI/Carp.pm line 356, referer: http://my-url/System/InstalledPlugins
exec failed: Permission denied at /var/lib/foswiki/lib/Foswiki/Sandbox.pm line 471., referer: http://my-url/System/InstalledPlugins
Other plugins seem to work fine.
