I tried out PublishPlugin with foswiki-1.0.0. I think there is small bug in PublishWeb:
  • the button at the end of the page has %SCRPTURLPATH%/publish ... I think it should be %SCRPTURLPATH%/rest/PublishPlugin/publish? ...

The string "SCRPTURLPATH" doesn't occur anywhere in the PublishPlugin sources. Or did you mean that the rest method should be called rather than the publish script? Ah yes, I removed it, didn't I.
