which means rev, date, author are not set, and results in users of said object having to write extra if but and maybe code for what we historically consider a valid topic.

(yes, this is a 2 part issue - imo we should fix Meta / Meta2 to always be a valid object, and secondly, I have to work on mongodb import to fix this)
