At the moment I have the following in lib\LocalSite.cfg

$Foswiki::cfg{SolrPlugin}{IndexExtensions} = 'txt, html, xml, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, pdf';

but images such as .jpg/.bmp/.gif are also being indexed.

I have the same Problem as well. In my case it's some .png Images that are indexed.

Running the latest Solr-Plugin with the latest Foswiki-Engine (1.1.4)

They are not indexed. I actually would love to do so reading their EXIF data. However, their metadata record being a part of the topic is indexed very well. Thats why they show up as a facet nevertheless.
