I'm trying to substitute AttachmentListPlugin for deprecated %ATTACHEMENTS% tag in a number of applications. One feature that I find missing which I hope might be added without much difficulty is the option to sort by the comments field. This provides a quick and easy way for users to manually control the displayed order and grouping of attachments.

Regarding implementation, I would see simply allowing sort to be set to $fileComment.
