As shown in the task Tasks.Item11386 if MAKETEXT uses arguments and there is an issue with the argument value (e.g. with an incorrect QUERY) it is not cleanly handled.

Maybe a better warning could be returned to the user?

does this mean the issue is resolved? (or can you make an example of the failure here?)

This looks to be resolved with recent versions. I think this can be closed now. I will do this
