An integration of the Zotero- socialbookmarking and bibliography- tool[1] would be very nice. Is there anything in planning? Can I help?

Absolutely you can help. Its modification policy is "Please feel free to modify", so you just need to RequestAccessToSubversion, or if git is more your thing, fork it on github (you'll still need to find somebody to get your changes back into svn).

We'd also love to see a zotero integration, though our users are mostly mendeley fans.

I tried the "Headline"-Plugin to get the RSS-Feed from Zotero including all bookmarks. Step 1 works fine for me. (But Step 2 (using the Zotero-Feed- data for the "Bibliography"-Plugin) doesn't work)

Unfortunatelly Zotero isn't supported yet as a bookmarkingservice

I found a further very interesting Bookmarkingservice: Please take a look at "Scuttle" or better at "SemanticScuttle" [2] - it seems to be really cool stuff because its OpenSource and provide an own Firefox-Addon.

Are you using BibliographyPlugin? Would you like to help with BibtexFormfieldPlugin ? It uses with Extensions/Testing.SemanticLinksPlugin. This pattern (though not the same code, I am transitioning to the BibtexFormfieldsPlugin app in the near future) is in use at http://trin.org.au/Mangroves/Bibliography/ - click any of the references, and you'll see a list of back-links to pages which cite it
