As can be seen in the following image text fields rendered by the RENDERFOREDIT macro are not aligned correctly. I have checked where this is set but cannot find it.

I'm using IE 8 in compatibility mode (forced via group policy) and foswiki 1.1.4

That's an error in PatternSkin's css.
