Item12295: Add installer package of Foswiki 1.1.6 for Support.FoswikiOnMacOSXLion

• Adjusted LocalSite.cfg and ReadMe.rtf accordingly
• Unfortunately attaching the 1.1.6 image to FoswikiOnMacOSXLion results in an internal error from foswiki.org's webserver. Anybody?

I temporarily parked the installer image on my own server. It would be great if we could sort out where to put large foswiki files (sourceforge would be best I think but I don't have write access to it).

Can you please try to upload to the version of this topic on trunk.foswiki.org - that uses CGI instead of fastCGI, and it seems more reliable for uploads.

Is this package already patched for Support.SecurityAlert-CVE-2012-6329 I'd strongly recommend that you pre-patch it if at all possible.

Regarding the upload, the issue is not that the foswiki.org site uses FastCGI, but that the RCS setting RcsLite is used, which is recommended for FastCGI. trunk.foswiki.org uses RcsWrap, and handles large attachments, binary attachments, and attachments with large numbers of revisions much better. So Kip's advice is correct. Use trunk.foswiki.org for the upload. That should work. If not, let me know and I'll get the file transferred out-of-band to the server. Another option is to attach it to the Sourceforge site and download it from there. I can help with that as well. Let me know.

Meanwhile I have created a new installer package including the patch for Support.SecurityAlert-CVE-2012-6329 and parked it here:

• gpg key

I've added the two files to the pub/Support/FoswikiOnMacOSXLion/ directory. The installer package won't show up in the attachment list, but you should be able to point a download link at it.
