Item12527: GenPdfAddon is broken by special characters

Hello,

I use a Wiki converted to utf-8. When the topic contains one of the follwing characters the html with the text of the topic which is created for htmldoc is broken (the htmlfile ends at the piont of the character.

• „ it a lower double quote U+201E
• “ it a upper double quote U+201C
• – it is an n-dash (in german halbgeviertstrich) U+2013

i looked into the code but wasn't able to find the reason fot this.

Try GenPDFPrincePlugin for better results.

This bug is probably in the external htmldoc product if the output stops mid-pdf.
