Item12732: Help doesn't display in "Edit topic preferences"

The "Help" tab in "Edit topic preferences" just shows a Help title and the processing.gif graphic.

It seems there are two problems here:

1. The setting help is pointing to the wrong topic. It's pointing to "%SYSTEMWEB.Macros" instead of "%SYSTEMWEB.PreferenceSettings"
2. It shouldn't render the processing graphic.

The first issue is not really a NatSkin issue, since it's in the base settings template.

The second issue doesn't occur once I point the help to the right topic, but it seems like something you may want to investigate, and something that is more NatSkin specific. The help for editing preferences in the default pattern skin does render correctly, with a link to the Macros page and the other help text, but the NatSkin version doesn't. Not sure why.

I fixed this on my site by overriding the settings.tmpl definition for "help" to point the POPUPWINDOW to "%SYSTEMWEB.PreferenceSettings" instead of "%SYSTEMWEB.Macros".

Not sure about NatSkin, but on http://trunk.foswiki.org/ the NatEditPlugin displays the correct help for Edit Settings.

Michael, Is this a No Action, or are there issues on NatSkin?
