Item12764: TablesContrib reports that it is out of date

TablesContrib appears highlighted in red in the configure list of installed plugins and extensions. I tried upgrading it, and wound up with the same version I had before. Checking the extension home page, it seems the version I have already is the most up to date version.

Configure is reporting that the newest version is v1.0.1 and the installed version is 12 Nov 2013.

There was a missing field in the TablesContrib.txt topic on the Foswiki.org Extensions web. That's been fixed and configure now reports that the extension is up to date.

Extensions that use a date based Release: field have to include it in the Extension information on Foswiki.org/Extensions web or configure mis-reports the status.

Thanks George. It looks good now. By the way, there are also a couple of typos in the description for this Contrib in case you want to fix those too (just cosmetic).

It says:

"Tables module for use wit Foswiki versions that don\'t have the tables handling"

Missing the "h" on "with" and there's a backslash in "don't".
