TWiki has the concept of "Supplemental Information" topics that enhance the distributed documentation but are held on TWiki.org.
This is a good idea. However the TWiki topics are generally just tag clouds, and are in the wrong place (TWiki web).
IMHO these topics should be in "Support", should be integrated in the FAQ, and should be more like hubs.
See
http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/TWiki/TWikiUserAuthenticationSupplement ->
UserAuthenticationFAQ for a good starting point.

I had to assume Support would be the place to put the Supplemental Document Entry pages. I need a decision to not get stalled in my rebranding effort.
I created the few I need. It would be hard work if you move them because I am renaming things like
TWiki:TWikiTWikiPluginsSupplement to
TWiki:Support.PluginsSupplement. The idea is to later globalle replace the TWiki: strings.

The concept of supplemental topics is well established. Closing this.
