Item12949: ImagePlugin tries to image extensions in urls

I've got a form attached to a topic with these content (taken from the txt file):

META:FIELD{name="Internet" attributes="" title="Internet" value="http://www.svg-schaumburg.de/"}

The field is defined as text.

With ImagePlugin enabled, it tries to load www.svg, which of course fails.

The field is rendered as: Error: can't fetch image from 'http://www.svg': 503 Service Unavailable-schaumburg.de/

The same happens, if I change the url to www.gif-schaumburg.de or www.jpg-schaumburg.de
