This is a quick hack. PatternSkin still has named tmpl macros for css and js to be called at a specific place in the tmpl hierarchy ... which makes things a lot more sensitive to those macros actually being loaded. Using ADDTOZONE and RENDERZONE is much better. This in fact is legacy from times before the invention of zones.
