Item13241: Improve the email Auto-configure flow and operation.

The Auto-configure needs to be more robust.

I've tested / fixed mailprogram configuration for qmail and exim4.

When configuring Net::.. based connections, it sets the timeout for 30 seconds, reduced to 10 seconds if more than one server is in the list to check. If a server doesn't implement STARTTLS or SSL, then you could wait 60 seconds before trying port 25 SMTP.

I think we can reduce these timeouts significantly. But I don't know how low is too low.

Is there some way to just add a popup dialog that states "The wizard is running. This can take a long time. Please wait for results" and then dismiss that dialog once the rpc request returns?

I added a non-blocking dialog that reflects the activity of all running wizards.

What's your opinion on the email auto-configure now. Any more reservations or can this task be closed? I don't have any other changes in mind.

It'll do. It still goes away and never comes back for me, but I guess that's just my problem.
