Item13742: Add jquerytextboxlist option to restrict selection to autosuggest list

I have found jquerytextboxlist useful to allow user to select multiple items from a large defined set of items. Currently, there is no simple way to restrict selected items to the pre-defined list. I'd propose to add an attribute called something like "forceselect" that only adds values that are selected from autoselect list. If item not on list is entered (e.g. by hitting return), it could perhaps give warning and instruct to select from list.

Seems like a reasonable request, not rising to needs a feature. Setting to confirmed.

Please try select2+multi from MoreFormfieldsPlugin. It does exactly what you are requesting for. Even the UI is nicer. Let me know if that works out for you and we can no-action this task item.

I concur that select2+multi exactly addresses the use case I described in this task. I'm changing status to no-action.
