This is EditRowPlugin, not EditTablePlugin... I believe ERP has already support for REST, so that is where AJAX could stick into. Not sure how hard it will be for ETP.

I don't understand this report. What is being asked for? (No, sorry, I'm not going to reverse-engineer it from a video, i haven't time even if I had the right plugin) - please describe in words.

Once I wanted to have a checkin for my brother. That was turned down, as I applied for somebody else. We then decided internally that we would first produce our results and would share them then. That is what we will do. Do we need a checkin for this? I guess not, huh? These films were simply for showing, what was achieved already.

Now I'm confused. I was under the impression that you were trying to express a requirement or report a bug (that's what Tasks web is for) but you are saying that you have code, and you want to share it? And it's a change to the EditRowPlugin? That's one of mine, for sure, but how do I review and merge the code from a video? If you just want to show what's been achieved, then please raise a feature request and close this task. I'm not going to do that right now because I'm still not sure what you are trying to do.

Note that even with checkin rights, you can't just merge new features into someone else's work without going through the feature request and tasks processes. Following that process is one of the requirements for getting checkin rights (see DeveloperResponsibilities).

BTW I wasn't involved with the issue over your checkin rights request, but I had the impression that if your brother were to raise his own checkin request topic, it would be granted without further ado.

Hi Crawford,

I am sorry for confusing you. At first (Nov 13th) it was a request. I thought somebody might answer and our programmers could find out how to do it. As nothing happened we found out for ourselves. And yes, it is EditRowPlugin. In this case our programmer Thomas Zobel was responsible. I just wanted to keep this topic up to date. That is why I put the videos in it.

I will ask Thomas to contact you Crawford to talk about the next steps for making these changes available for all.

Not that I know of. What we did for the customer is highly customize. I do not think, that we would want it in the core code ... sorry.
