We have a number of settings where the input field is a text and it is text that can best be characterised as code.

For example the settings for {Site}{Locale} where you would use values like en_US.ISO-8859-1

It is easy to mistype. I personally use a lot copying the examples from the help text and pasting them to the field.

But now we have a pop-up type help this is no longer possible. I have to type everything by hand looking at the help text (which is only partly visible for the large help texts).

I am not sure the pop-up is such a great idea for the larger help texts. The on/off fields with a one line help text are OK but there is a problem with the more complex settings.
