JHotDrawPlugin has to be killed from task manager if anything fails
For example when an upgrader has not removed jhotdraw.pattern.tmpl or does not have strikeone enabled or something else goes wrong you can Exit as much as you want. The java applet just won't quit.
We need the applet to be able die. When you have answered yes to exit - no matter what error has happened - the applet must quit.

Agreed, but just a note: I'm not sure about other browsers but in FF if you close the container window that launched the applet, it takes the java applet out with it.
