Table sorting (by clicking on one of the header entries) doesn't work if the topic name contains an umlaut. In this case the link used for sorting is written as
http://wiki/testing/bin/view/Sandbox/TestT%f6pic/Sandbox/TestT%F6pic?sortcol=0;table=1;up=0#sorted_table
instead of just
http://wiki/testing/bin/view/Sandbox/TestT%f6pic?sortcol=0;table=1;up=0#sorted_table
This bug might have been fixed in a more recent version of the core (not the plugin - I've got the latest version of TablePlugin installed) as I couldn't recreate it in twiki.org's Sandbox web (
TWiki:Sandbox.TestTöpic). However, it might also have something to do with the
locale settings.
{Site}{Locale}
is set to
de_CH.iso88591
and
{Site}{CharSet}
to
iso-8859-1
in my installation.

Apparently fixed. See

The original bugs seems to be fixed. But now, there is a new (?) one: table sorting only works the first time in this topic. When I open the topic for the first time, the umlaut in the address bar is encoded as
TestT%f6pic
, but after sorting the table for the first time, the topic name in the address bar changes to
TestTöpic
. When sorting a second time, it tries to open a topic called
TestTöpic
(which of course doesn't exist).
Is it better to open a new task for this bug?
