Item5863: Text fields in forms maintain the old value if you clear the field and save (TSA Trunk only)

Another TSA bug - only in trunk

If you have a form field with text and you want to delete the content of the field - you cannot. When you save the empty field, the old text is still there.

it is a pain here on Bugs web that I cannot clear the Waiting For field when I close a bug

I can confirm this. I'll start to work on these issues tonight, hope have all of them fixed until Sunday.

Fixed and tested: I removed my name from the WaitingFor field of this bug.

I also cleaned WaitingFor field of all items matching:

WaitingFor != '' AND AppliesTo = 'Engine' AND (CurrentState = 'Waiting for Release' OR CurrentState = 'Closed')
