Vote plugin does not show the voting results. For eg. when I write

%VOTE{id="FavouriteMeal" select1="Drink" options1="Beer,Wine,Milk,Water" select2="Food" options2="Steak,Bread,Pasta,Pizza"}%

then the voting results (red bars) are not shown. I suppose this is related to Item1867

The plugin works when I mention open="off" and do not use the id attribute but why is this?

Also, in the starsN attribute value we cannot have commas and apostrophes.

The issue has resurfaced again in Foswiki 1.1.5 under mod_perl.

Open and closed votes work differently. AFAICT it works exactly as documented in FW 2.0
