Item8801: Installer does not flag failed dependency

Installation log file shows a failing dependency, but the installation continues:

...
Checking dependency on BerkeleyDB....
*** DBCacheContrib depends on cpan package BerkeleyDB >=0
which is described as "Recommended for sites with many topics. Available from [[http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/dist/BerkeleyDB][CPAN]]"
But when I tried to find it I got this error:

Can't locate BerkeleyDB.pm

I will keep a backup of any files I overwrite.Archive has already been unpacked.

### Installation finished ###

and finally even reports:

Installer ran without errors
Installation finished.

I would expect to see an error here.

You are right. This report is almost unreadable, in desperate need of love & care.

Other than that DBCacheContrib doesn't require BerkeleyDB it is only optional ... and flagged experimental.
