Item8916: Documentation on how to hide WebLeftBar

I got asked by users relatively often how to hide the WebLeftBar for certain topics in a web (or for an entire web). A solution is proposed at PatternSkinCssCookbookNoLeftBar. Would it be possible to remove the WebLeftBar from a higher level, i.e. by not including it from its parent template in the first place?

i think it would be good to show and example the tmpl method with example in PatternSkinCssCookbookNoLeftBar - repeating ourselves in relevant places should help users - especially when they're not reading the entire book, but instead searching and refering.
