Good idea. Raise a feature proposal for 1.2.0 scope and give it a proper human name. I had to look up Foswiki::Func::_checkWTA to see that it does. It was not obvious to me that it WTA means Web/Topic/Attachment.

But it does indeed look like a useful Func call for plugins.
