I have experienced a few times on beta 1 that after editing and saving a topic the old content is still there and the changes are lost. I edited using raw edit. At least now this last time I noticed the CSRF warning screen where I had to click OK to continue, don't know if it's relevant. Hitting back a few times in the browser (FF3.5) the 'edit' page with the new content was found and after saving over again it was all fine, updated content.
First I thought it could be the new caching mechanism but this also happened after disabling cache and restarting apache. The new cache is awesome fast, btw.

I cannot confirm this on Chrome (mac), with or without caching.

Hi Lars, was there anything in the logs? (apache or foswiki)

No, I couldn't find anything in the logs, where I looked anyway; messages, dmesg, apache error and access. But I hope this is gone now that I switched to mod_fcgid from mod_fstcgi. I shall test more at work where we have different clients/platforms. Thanks for the help so far.

This was relative easy to reproduce when I had mod_fastcgi. Now with mod_fcgid I have not been able to reproduce. From browsing more about this subject it
seems to me that windows users, at least, have success with mod_fastcgi while others recommend mod_fcgid. Might not be true. I have only run on Ubuntu. This particular problem is solved for me, using mod_fcgid. I must say we have one older server with Ubuntu 8.04 LTS which uses mod_fastcgi and it works well. I have no clue about if it is about newer vesion of Apache etc or we use newer techniques in Foswiki that makes the difference. I used the Apache Config generator page to generate config.
