Item9719: Typo in System.DefaultUserRegistration suggesting to select the "Wiki" to join, presumably instead of the "Group" to join
Priority: Normal
Current State: Closed
Released In: n/a
Target Release: minor
In
branches/Release01x01/TopicUserMappingContrib/data/System/DefaultUserRegistration.txt
line 217, the following string appears:
%STARTSECTION{"rendergroupheader"}%<li><label for="Twk0AddToGroups">%MAKETEXT{"Select Wiki [_1] to join" args="%multiple%"}%</label>
I believe there is a mistake there, since it looks weird that the registration page for the Wiki tells you that you may select "a Wiki" to join, as if you could really select another Wiki.
I believe this might be
Select Group %multiple% to join
instead of
Select Wiki %multiple% to join
, but I can't display the registration page with that string to see exactly the context.
Nevertheless, it looks like this is meant to allow selection of a group upon registration as Sven developed it. I am putting him in the "Waiting For" field to confirm this. Sven, please change the status to "Confirmed" if I am correct.
This problem affects trunk too.
Once the typo and its correction are confirmed, I will do the changes in the
DefaultUserRegistration.txt in both the places.
Then, a new Foswiki.pot will have to be generated, and the changes merged to the languages .po files.

Thanks Sven, I have corrected this. Now I need André to generate a new Foswiki.po file and merge the changes to the languages .po files.
André, I have put you in the "Waiting For" field.
I am sorry to annoy you again. Can you make this please, so that the translators have the correct strings ?
