12 Nov 2010: Strong committed community managed to release version 1.1.2 only 14 hours after report received. If you have not yet upgraded to 1.1.2, now is a good time.
10 Nov 2010: Foswiki 1.1.2 has been released. It is a release that fixes some very important bugs incl. a security related bug. Installations running 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 should be upgraded to 1.1.2.
26 Oct 2010: Foswiki 1.1.1 has been released. It is a release that fixes some important bugs that were introduced in 1.1.0. It is highly recommended that all running 1.1.0 upgrade to 1.1.1.
04 Oct 2010: Foswiki 1.1.0 has been released. It is a release with more than 270 bug fixes relative to 1.0.10 and more than 680 bug fixes relative to 1.0.0. And is has more than 100 enhancements.
08 Sep 2010: Foswiki 1.0.10 has been released. It is the last 1.0 series release. Foswiki 1.1.0 beta is expected released within a few days.

17 Jan 2010: Foswiki 1.0.9 has been released. This release fixes many bugs in the Wysiwyg editor, bugs related to more advanced wiki applications and bugs in the Plugin API. It contains several bug fixes and enhancements related to security and spam fighting.
29 Nov 2009: Foswiki 1.0.8 has been released. This release fixes a short list of quite annoying old bugs incl a bugfix that enables producing newsletters as well as emails with changed topics. The Wysiwyg editor has been upgraded with the latest Tiny MCE editor release 3.2.7.
20 Sep 2009: Foswiki 1.0.7 has been released. It is a patch release with more than 190 bug fixes relative to 1.0.0 and some enhancements. This release fixes some serious issues introduced by the CSRF fix and the redirect cache fix in 1.0.6. Major enhancement that also fixes many annoying editor bugs is the upgrade of the Tiny MCE editor to version 3.2.2.
21 Jun 2009: Foswiki Release 1.0.6 has been released. This 3rd patch release includes 47 bug fixes and 6 enhancements including a major enhancement in cross-site scripting prevention that closes an important security hole identified by the Red Hat security team. Furthermore we have worked with the 'Pootle' team to create a new translation framework that makes it much easier to contribute user interface translations to new languages.
25 Apr 2009: Foswiki 1.0.5 has been released. This 2nd patch release includes 29 bug fixes and 4 minor enhancements. The release contains important security improvements and is highly recommended. Upgrade packages are provided for easy and swift upgrading.
19 Mar 2009: Foswiki 1.0.4 has been released with more than 100 bug fixes and some small enhancements. Upgrading is highly recommended. For TWiki users: note Foswiki 1.0.4 fixes about 300 bugs from TWiki 4.2.4.
04 Jan 2009: We are happy to announce that Foswiki 1.0.0 stable will be released on the 9th Jan 2009.

02 Jan 2009: Foswiki community wishes happy new year with the release of 1.0.0 beta 3. Beta 3 mainly contains bug fixes from intensive testing on the Windows platform.
29 Dec 2008: Second beta release of Foswiki 1.0.0 is available for download. It addresses some important bugs and a security issue related to passwords copied to home topic when you register.
27 Dec 2008: First beta release of Foswiki 1.0.0 is available for download. It is quite stable but we still have some hardening of the code we want to do, and we desperately need people to test our beta 1.

19 Nov 2008: The hard work of rebranding continues; the trunk codebase is all complete, and the work has ended up with a bonus - a couple of unexpected bugfixes, and a small performance enhancement. Plugins from TWiki.org have been installed and proven to work.
18 Nov 2008: As a community we decided on our new name: Foswiki - Free and Open Source Wiki.
16 Nov 2008: Thanks to a huge effort from community members, we have removed commercial trademarks from the core documentation. Next step is a compatibility module to make life for existing users as easy as possible.
10 Nov 2008: We have set up the code infrastructure, including a Tasks web to monitor bugs and features, live copies of trunk and the release branch and nightly builds.

On the TWiki-Website you couldn't easily see what the software was really like. No marketing section with description of features, screenshots and such. This will be different with Foswiki. See the first draft and enhance it with text.
