Future changes to the articles can be discussed in this wiki and then be brought into a General Assembly for approval. If approved they will require to be accepted by the registration court.

2010-11-30

The Foswiki Association Articles, Version 2009-09-24 have been rejected by the german tax office and are in proccess of being reworked. Responsible persons: MichaelDaum, Andreas Mau (tax accountant)

It is only the paragraphs that describes the purpose of the association that are being discussed with the German authorities. We want to be recognized as a non-profit organization as this gives us some advantages with respect to bank fees etc. The income of the association is so small that we do not pay tax no matter what status. The articles that describes membership, general assembly and the board are not being changed, so the association can work under the current 2009-09-24 set of rules that were passed at the first general assembly.

The previous articles have been converted to latex so that every change can be diffed using foswiki online.

The draft version (Nov 30th, 2011) has been accepted by the German tax office.

2009-09-24

An updated version from Sept. 24th, 2009 was required to be handed over to the registration court after applying corrections that have been identified to be necessary for registration. All founding members had re-signed the version from Sept. 24th, 2009.

2009-09-09

This version was handed over to the registration court on Sept. 9th, 2009. The first interims board was elected based on these articles.

Unofficial transcript in English. Attached you can also find older versions from the pre-registration phase. Prior to the day of foundation these articles were discussed within the community and agreed with the lawyers.
