RaulFRodriguez Would Like to Check-in
Who am I?
I am a self taught sys admin. I started learning Linux OS with Slackware 3.0 back in 1995. I am an administrator of Linux and FreeBSD systems, and have authored Document management systems for Intranet and Extranet at work, integrating e-mails, faxes and mail.
My early versions were using mod_perl, before switching to Php. I still use some Perl for internal routines and administration tasks.
I do not consider myself as a Perl specialist though.
In my spare time, I provide assistance for a not-for-profit organization for whom I have installed a T* since a few months, and developed some simple plugins for their specific use.
I will be deploying a Wiki at work next year, as a complementary tool to our DMS, and would like to use Foswiki for its ability to create applications and use structured data. In addition to developing applications, I expect that I will need to develop some plugins to access and process external data
My field of expertise is also in law (IT/IP).
What do I want?
write access to
SVN for the following branches:
Core
twikiplugins
What can I do?
I am fluent in English, French and Spanish, and I can help in the translation effort for French language.
I could also contribute plugins in the future.
Why do I want to do it?
The former French translator
BenVoui appears not to be on Foswiki, at least for the moment, and no one appears to take over this work. I have a personal interest in getting the French language installation files updated and with as few mistakes as possible.
I can also help in the Spanish translation team, but it looks like they already have plenty of people (:-P).
I subscribed myself to
TranslationTeam by putting my name in the table as a translator for French language. If I don't get svn access, I will continue disturbing
AndreUlrich sending him the fr.po updates by e-mail ;-P
