Who am I?
I'm a System Integration Engineer/DBA/Unix Sysadmin working in the Financial Industry. I love integrating applications and generally making things easier for everyone. I've been using TWiki in my company for almost 2 years now and have designed and implemented a large TWiki deployement which is being used by > 150 users IT staff. I'm interested in Wiki Applications and one of the design objectives of our Wiki deployment was to greatly minimize the amount of documentation that people need to write while still providing them with the information they want when they want it. To this end I have integrated a number of plugins to create Wiki applications.What do I want?

For starters I want to extend the ObjectPlugin to allow users to embed Visio diagrams which are attached to a topic. I have moderate experience with Perl, and I would like to contribute a IT contribution which essentially sets up a number of Webs such as Applications/Environments/Databases/Hardware/ScheduledJobs etc.. I have provided some screenshots from our install for you to view.. I am also doing a part time MSc Knowledge Management in Computing, and I can add my experience and insights to the project.Why do I want to do it?
I want to create wiki applications/plugins/ that will allow users to fully utilise features already in FosWiki. On a personal note I want to extend my development skills.Other Notes

This is the overall design of our Wiki. It consists of a number of core webs which are contributed to by all IT staff, The outer webs then work off these webs by including information and linking. The Wiki IS production. All project documentation is added in the Wiki as part of the production change control |

All teams have their own team sites which are publicly viewable but editable only editable by the team. There is a template web which is used for this which includes a team blog/discussion forum/daily checklists/faqs/team calendar |
